San Isabel National Forest
This is a connector trail between Indian Trail #1300 and Dodgeton Trail #1302. This trail has a 1,200′ elevation gain.
Location: From La Veta take CO Highway 12 to Cuchara Water and Sanitation office, turn right into Spring Creek Trailhead parking lot. Take Dodgeton trail (approximately 2.75 miles) to junction of the Shortcut trail.
