About the RE-1 Panther Path Project

The RE-1 Panther Path is a 1.5-mile trail with outdoor fitness equipment to be constructed on Huerfano RE-1 property in Walsenburg. The trail will consist of signage, lighting, benches, and outdoor fitness equipment. The trail will be constructed by school staff, students, parents, and community volunteers over an 8-day period in June of 2022. The planning, design, and construction of the trail will be supervised by Ross Hallihan, an RE-1 teacher, and Mark White, LVT Field Coordinator.
