This trail offers views of Cuchara Valley and has an elevation gain of 152′.
The Spanish Peaks Wilderness Area is a part of the San Isabel National Forest, San Carlos Ranger District.
Location: From La Veta take CO Highway 12 to Cuchara Pass, turn left at County Road 46 travel and drive 6 miles to Cordova summit trailhead. Take the West Peak Trail for 1/4 mi. Take Vista Point Trail 1309A to left for about ½ mile to Vista Point at top of ridge.
