Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has practiced law for 38 years and has served as lead counsel in over 300 cases involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, misappropriation, bad faith, unjust enrichment, professional malpractice, and/or negligence. He has previously served as the President of the Advisory Board of Family Tree, Inc. and is a founding member of Rocky Flats Downwinders. He was raised in Evergreen, Colorado and although he has moved away from Colorado numerous times over the years, his love for the mountains has always brought him back. He moved from Denver to the La Veta area five years ago to unsuccessfully begin to retire. His interests include skiing, hiking and fishing, and he enjoys RVing to new hiking and fishing spots every summer with his wife Tiffany and their dog Liberty Lou.
