Heloise, a Geophysicist-Geologist, holds an M.S. and Ph.D. from Stanford University and a BA in Geology-Math from Bowdoin College, Maine. She is a founder and President of Lynn Inc., a consulting firm for oil and gas exploration and production. Heloise has worked processing and interpreting seismic reflection data since 1975. She evaluates seismic data to make maps of structure, lithology, faults, in-situ stress, and fractures. Her interests in La Veta Trails arises from the joy being in Nature provides and focus upon sharing the geologic insights that our surroundings provide. Favorite outdoor activities include walking, hiking, bicycling, and swimming. She especially enjoys yoga and pickleball.
